Family Days 2008

WELCOME TO OZED

Our Aims Are:

ozED will provide support and referral advice to all persons and families that are diagnosed with Ectodermal Dysplasias.

ozED will provide advice and information to health care professionals to assist in provision of quality care being provided to people and families affected by Ectodermal Dysplasias.

ozED will not categorise or prioritise any forms of Ectodermal Dysplasias and recognise all of the Ectodermal Dysplasias as equal.

ozED will conduct its business, including fundraising, political lobbying and international liaisons in the highest professional manner.

   
 

 




 

What is ED?
Ectodermal Dysplasia (ED) is a genetic condition affecting the Ectoderm layer during fetus development.

What does it cause?

ED can affect these areas most noticeably but is not limited to them:
Hair

Nails

Teeth

Sweat glands and function

Tear function and composition

Saliva production
